Non-Surgical RF Skin Tightening
Needle-free, non-surgical radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening from Cynosure Lutronic, the makers of the LaseMD Ultra laser Dr. Rahman already uses. Performed by Dr. Rahman herself, for patients in Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney and across Collin County.
Aesthetic Partner: Cynosure Lutronic
XERF delivers radiofrequency energy non-invasively, through the tip of a handpiece resting on the skin. Nothing goes into the skin. The treated tissue is heated, which results in coagulation. Cynosure calls the treatment Structural Skin Tightening, a term the company uses to describe tightening effects that occur via soft tissue coagulation.
XERF was cleared through the FDA's 510(k) process (K251327) on August 11, 2025. Its cleared indication reads: "XERF is indicated for use in dermatologic and general surgical procedures for electrocoagulation and hemostasis." Dr. Rahman would rather show you that wording than a marketing summary of it.
Every XERF treatment here is performed by Dr. Rahman herself, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. Before anyone books a treatment, she looks at your skin in person, reviews your health history and medications, and tells you honestly whether XERF fits. Sometimes the answer is a different treatment, or nothing at all.
Because the practice offers both XERF and the LaseMD Ultra laser, your plan is built around your skin rather than around a single device.
Prebooking is by phone at (972) 782-2811, so you speak with the team directly. Appointments begin the week of 16 November.
Dr. Rahman looks at your skin in person and reviews your health history and the medications you take.
XERF, a different treatment, or nothing at all: you decide together, with a realistic expectation of what XERF is cleared for.
Dr. Rahman performs the treatment herself. The handpiece rests on the skin, with cooling delivered with each pulse and real-time feedback that adjusts to your skin. A return pad on your back completes the circuit.
K-Luxe is Cynosure's name for pairing a XERF treatment with the LaseMD Ultra laser. It is not a separate device and has no FDA clearance of its own; each device keeps its own cleared indication. If pairing the two makes sense for your skin, Dr. Rahman will talk it through at your consultation.
